Question:  Rate your ability to use allocated presentation time effectively

 

Rating Scale:  ( 0 = Very Ineffective and 10 = Very Effective)

 

Out of 235 people who presented at the conference, 65 completed the pre-conference survey and 45 completed the post-conference survey.  However out of the data submitted only 39 records were usable.

02 6 10 increase I did a poster, so I just had a certain time period to be there. Though I felt that having the later poster sessions was not the best idea, because the day started to get long and people left.

21 9 10 no change The time limit was actually relaxed at the conference. Normally there are severe penalties for going overtime. As a result, I make sure to stay consistent, something I manage to do quite well. My time rarely varies by more than 5 seconds.

40 7 9 increase The SAC definately helped me here. When I first put my presentation together, my first practice lasted 25 minutes. I had to work really hard to cut it down to the 12 minutes, but this was great experience in really looking at my presentation to figure o
