About Me:
I am currently a 4th-year PhD student at NYU’s Social & Organizational Psychology Program. My advisors are Dr. David Amodio and Dr. Peter Gollwitzer. Prior to coming to NYU, my previous research experience included working as an RA for Dr. Mikki Hebl as an undergraduate at Rice University and participating in a summer research program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison working with Dr. Robert Livingston.
Research Interests:
Though past attempts to reduce expressions of implicit race bias have primarily focused on changing the nature of automatic associations, my research explores the role of non-deliberative control within this realm, as well as the neural mechanisms underlying such a process.
