about I'm a second-year PhD student in NYU's Department of Linguistics. I do formal model-theoretic semantics for natural language. Some of my recent work looks at the intersection of modality, quantification and scope, and binding theory. Less recent (though still pretty recent, I suppose) work is on the projective behavior of so-called "strong" presuppositional triggers in quantificational environments. I've also looked at ellipsis and ACD and proposed a strong version of the theory that they work like pronouns; I implemented that analysis in a Combinatory Categorial Grammar.
