Steven L. Rosenhaus: Conductor
Steven first began conducting his own works, premiering his "MNML 2" for large chamber ensemble in Arezzo, Italy. He later studied with Paul Rudoff for two years, and in 1995 participated in the Conductor's Institute, where he worked under Paul Vermel, Donald Portnoy, and others.
Steven has since conducted many times in New York City, including one of his own music on the main stage at Carnegie Hall, as well as in Italy (including Rome, Perugia, Pisa, Gubbio, and Arezzo), Switzerland, Germany, France, and England. He has also had the honor of conducting the U.S. Naval Academy Band and the 108th Army Reserve Band in performances of works commissioned for those distinguished groups.
