Biography Stacy Rosenberg is Assistant Director for External Relations at the New York University Department of Media, Culture, and Communication (MCC) and the NYU Council for Media and Culture. She is also a member of the adjunct faculty of the NYU Stern School of Business and NYU Steinhardt for ethics and identity courses. Recently, Stacy co-directed the Media and Globalization study abroad course in Amsterdam and Paris. She also leads a financial planning seminar to support young adults aging out of the foster care system. Prior to joining MCC, Stacy served as Associate Director at the NYU Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management. In this role, she directed the NYU Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, chaired by Jonathan M. Tisch, and attended by the most prominent hotel developers in the world. Previously, she worked as a producer for the arts and entertainment guide Citysearch.com and in live and recorded television production for The Walt Disney Company and Universal Studios, Orlando. Projects included media relations for The Walt Disney World Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney grand opening press events as well as Disney's 25th Anniversary and Millennium press events, and production work on Oprah, Roseanne, The Walt Disney World Christmas and Easter specials, Miss America, Children's Miracle Network Telethon, N Sync "I Want You Back" music video, Flamingo Fortune, Nickelodeon's Big Help in Washington, D.C., and more. Stacy has a Master of Arts in Media, Culture, and Communication from NYU, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication, with an outside concentration in Business, from the University of Florida where she was a Florida Academic Scholar, graduated summa cum laude, and was awarded the Dean's Cup for Professional Promise. She is published in the 2004 edition of the Encyclopedia of Television. |
