On Disclaimers.
All my views are objective. I base this on the fact that I recognize that the concept of consciousness is really just a construct of human grammar and that it really does not exist*. I acknowledge that all my thought processes are just as mechanical as a computer’s and the illusion of consciousness is created by my extraordinary ability to access and juggle countless sensory and memory inputs into a ‘reality’. Therefore, without consciousness, my experiences are not subjective, and instead are just responses to my environment and previous memories of environments. Therefore, since I lack subjectivity, I am therefore objective 100% of the time (even though time is another product of human grammar, but that’s for another disclaimer). I am not saying that others don’t have consciousnesses or souls or whatever, I’m just saying that I don’t, and therefore I am objective. However, I do acknowledge where some things I say may not be correct, but only due to a lack of awareness of facts, not due to any error in my thought processes.
Also, just to note, I am not racist, which many of my friends might believe. I say whatever outputs my brain generates, regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, sex or whatever. If anything, that makes me ultra not racist, because I am not compelled to treat anyone differently no matter how much they bitch and whine.
*(to explain; we say "the lightening flashes". Lightening is the flash. It is a hell of a lot easier for us to talk to each other with nouns and verbs instead of just verbs, so our brians evolved a grammatical structure with both (or maybe we could talk to each other in just verbs, but nature wasn't able to endow our brains with the capability to accomadate this simpler grammaer [you suck natural selection!]. So what ends up happening, is that we end up creating an entire world/universe/reality that really doesn't exist, and hence, the idea of a consciousness is really just a result of nature's laziness.)
