On why Japan rules so hard
There are few civilizations that have ruled quite as hard in history as the Japonese. It is an island the size of maybe California, yet it dominates so severely, all other countries larger than it should be constantly embarrassed at their inferiority (except the US, of course). France is the size of Texas, full of white people, and it still blows. How did this happen? I would guess socialism messed France up, but that still does not explain Japan’s overwhelming superiority. In order to examine this question, one has to understand a bit about Japan and its culture.
It is the only ancient culture that has entered the modern age, and with a vengence on top of that. While everyone else was like, “our way of life rules, we are not gonna change our ways or even bother to learn anything from the whiteman” as did the once in a while gun toting American Indians, regular Indians, Chinese, Arabs, Africans and whoever else obstinately did, the Japonese, were ultra quick in disregarding their own culture which already ruled so extremely hard (the way of the Shogun and Samurai, which btw was better than almost all other ancient cultures combined, with the exception of meso-Americans and Vikings... I cannot stress nearly enough how much Samurais ruled, as well as ninjas), and not only learned about the ways of the west, but improved upon them. Such open mindedness and vision rules.
Japan is the only country that could ever have put up such a tremendous fight with 20th century America. 1941 Japan could probably annihalate most countries today. For this, I pay homage. Japan’s economy is also the second largest in the world. Needless to say, that rules.
I have examined solely the military and economic prowess of Japan. But if one has ever immersed themselves in Japanese culture, or even merely observed it, one will realize how superior it is to their own in many aspects. Japanese culture dwarfs American culture in almost every facet, although, to be fair, that is not saying much. Modern Japonese culture, however, does not compare with the modern cultures of India and China, but that is mainly because both countries are still somewhere in the 1880's, at which point in time, Japan would have been easily able to compete. Sometimes people allege that the Japanese are conformists. But to this, I say, if anyone in any culture belongs to that culture, aren't they conforming to that culture? Also, even if conforming in the Japanese sense is bad, there are a lot worse things to conform to than samurai code (which obviously, rules).
In conclusion, it is an utter shame that Japan is a pacifist nation. I would like to see them put N. Korea in its place.
