3/11/03-- The eye of the storm
Tonight's my one night of peace after the weekend o' Lexi and before the week o' Ang and Keith. We had so much fun this weekend. Ellen and I are reigning Cranium champs-- booyah!! Zack blamed it on Lexi, but I think someone "kicked ass" in the Bahamas-- with Lexi on his team!!! Sunday night was so crazy. It was like everything that could happen on a going-out night did. There was dancing, laughter, tears, jealousy, romance.... it was definitely our blow-out night. Lexi says she's coming back in April when C-Lowe comes, but we'll see. I met this really cool guy named Jeremy on Sunday night. Didn't really get to talk to him much, but he called me to go out sometime, so I guess I'll see what happens.... I returned his call and ended up getting his voicemail, and it started out "Hey, you got the wrong number..." And I ACTUALLY SAID: "Oh crap!!" I just laughed when it continued, "unless you're trying to reach Jeremy." Wow, he's a lucky guy to have met a girl as smart as me..... There are many more exciting stories to tell about this weekend (well, I guess not THAT many), but I have to start knocking things off of my to-do list. WAIT-- one more exciting story. I met Big Al from the tv show (from the early 90's that you haven't heard of) Sisters. Ellen and I have watched this guy (real name: Robert Klein) since we were like 9. We were SOOOO stoked. He was in a play (The Exonerated, which was really good) that we saw during the weekend o' Lexi. Ok, that was the last exciting story I can tell for now... IT WAS EXCITING TO ME, OK?!? Love ya bye! 3/7/03-- "...and I'm a Ghetto-aholic." A couple of people have confessed to me over the secrecy of AIM that they are addicted to my website and have to check it regularly (as in a few times a day). Well, I'm here to tell you that it's OK. The first step is admitting it. Actually, your addictions are why I even bother to update. And you're not alone. There are people you can talk to about this type of thing. My attention span has run out, I'll add more later... PT. II Ok, I'm back. It's 3:30 a.m., and I'm pooped. Had an awesome night with Randee, Lex, and Zack. God, I could have killed Zack today. Seriously, everything he did was just annoying. We went to Scratchers, our favorite hangout place. We had a lot of fun. We made Lexi hit on a bunch of girls. It was hilarious. This one guy got really defensive of his friend. He must have been like 35, and when Lexi hit on his (girl)friend, he started talking crap to Mike, who is gay and didn't give a crap about the girl. We were laughing at Lexi's attempts and the guy was like "Yeah, I bet you don't even shave" to Mike. We were like what?!?! It was great.(wow, that was written like a third grader's story...) New Rob quotes. He's been really funny lately. Even when he doesn't mean to be ("I don't like to show off"-- that's funny stuff). Big day of homework and Lexi & Zack tomorrow, so I gotta go. See ya.
3/4/03-- I love me's carrots... I think Ellen is turning into a pirate. A bunny pirate. Ok, so I really shouldn't think this is funny, and I know some of you will not think this is funny, but for some reason I think it's hilarious. I'm a frigid ice queen, I'm sorry. It comes naturally. But you know what you will think's funny? Ok so I have this friend named Barbirettia, but we just call her Barbie (that's not the funny part, jerk). Today in Political Theory I saw a girl who could have been Barbie's relative and I told Ellen, "Remind me to talk to Barbie in Media Crit; I think I saw her sister today in class." And Ellen goes, "Barbie's sister.... who, Skipper?" I thought it was funny. It was, you just had to be there... I was so opinionated today (who, me?). I raised my hand in every class. Hope my teachers don't expect that every day. I only had the energy to battle the idiot kids in my class today. I hate to sound elitist, but they really aren't worth arguing with. They don't listen to what you're saying or even try to think about what you said, so I don't bother. I better go cause Tot's coming over at 9, I have a hot phone date at 10, and I have to study for a midterm I know nothing about. Peace out homies. P.S.-- if you were a nice person, you would IM Anita and congratulate her on making the softball team, cause she was really stoked. who cares if you don't know her? you can't support another human being? 3/2/03-- Beef, it's what's cute.
Is this not the cutest picture you've ever seen? I love it.... I guess I just love cows, for different reasons than you.... Oh man, this picture just cracks me up. Nothing new to talk about... Lexi's coming on Thursday. Don't know how much I'll get to see of her.... New quotes on Tot's page and from my cousin Stacey. Keith's page's newest entry is just embarrassing... Hmmm, what else... oh, I got a new buddy icon (am I really old enough to be this boring yet?!?) Oooo, I screwed the system (kinda). I'm on a list-serve for my tutoring program still, and they sent out an email that said they have free RENT tickets for the tutors, so I emailed them and got me and Ellen tics for tomorrow night's show. I bet they're like rear mezz, but it's something to do.... and we thought we were actually going to NOT see a Broadway show this week. Sure, it's Ellen's 4th time (seeing RENT) and my second, but it's still a cultural event. And free ANYthing is great... Woo hoo! Back to Political Theory midterm studying-- I'll be having nightmares of Aristotle, Plato, and Machiavelli for the rest of my life....
3/1/03-- Where does the time go? Seriously, time goes by so much quicker in New York than it does anywhere else in the world. Lexi and I decided last year that that's actually where they get the term "New York Minute"-- it's not that NYC's environment is fast-paced, is that the minutes are quicker here than anywhere else. I can't believe it's already 8 o'clock on a Saturday. I've gotten some homework done, miraculously, but not near what I had planned on. And now Tot's almost here and I haven't curled my hair or even gotten real clothes on. Even Ellen was surprised by what time it was. Yesterday was Keith's birthday. IM him and wish him a happy belated or ask him how it went. I have new quotes on my family page and I think on Tot's page too. My cousin and I had an interesting conversation this morning. She's a funny gal. So I see that 7% of you use Windows 98 and 8% of you use Windows 95.... who are you people?!? Let me guess, you still have an IBM, too. I didn't even know those platforms were still around, especially 95. (Oh God, that was a Nick Burns moment....) Tot's downstairs, so I gotta go. Off to Cliff for the night. Later.
2/26/03-- Ahhh... the smell of natural gas in the morning... In the headlines: Dell kid now just NYU kid. Wow, and he had such a great career blooming from that gig... Maybe he quit because his brain cells were killed by all the natural gas floating around Hayden. The City of New York has been working on our gas/water lines forEVER now. Today when I was walking to and from the subway station, I was greeted by the pleasant smell of natural gas, which luckily drowned out some of the B.O. from the workers. I love how so many kids here, including the President of the NYU Democrats (who lives on my floor), complain that people need to open their eyes and realize that they're getting lied to by Bush, we're just sheep since we don't know what's "really" going on in our country, when they don't even know how they're getting ripped off and lied to in their own dorm. Only about 55% of you are going to care about this, but I have the hottest guy ever in my science lecture. He's perfect. He's blond hair, blue eyes (you know I love the Aryans), BUFF, nice strong hands.... it goes on and on. He wears jeans and a t-shirt that shows off his body but still doesn't look gay, with a pair of slightly dirty sneakers... *SIGH* His name is Nick and I'll never see him again. Oh well!! I, of course, have lots of homework that is due tomorrow that I have yet to start. I doubt any of you noticed, but my RAQs were screwed up for a minute. Bravenet had some kind of trouble and just erased all my updates, but I fixed 'em! You're WELCOME! (Nick Burns reference, only Lex will probably get it..) Liz, go write something in the forum and sign my guestbook. Stop playin' me, foo. Oh, in case I haven't told you, I think I might stay with Kim at her grandma's lakehouse in South Dakota. That would be FAT. Speaking of, I have to stop eating if I plan to live on the beach for 3 months.... West Wing is on soon, ROB LOWE'S LAST DAY!! Now I'll have to start watching for the politics aspect of it.... He wasn't even cute on the show till last season, and now he's gotta quit. Spolied brat... Oh, one last thing-- Ellen and I might be on a MTV show that takes you shopping to redo the person's whole wardrobe. We're just gonna shop for ourselves, since we're the same size. The guy emailed us back and everything. I'll keep ya posted on how it goes.... Bye babies.
2/24/03-- Warning: foul language ahead... Got an email a few minutes ago... Red died. I'm mad. mad mad mad. I don't know why. My mom said anger is the first reaction to a death, but I was sad about Corki first. I'm just pissed right now. I can't even think. ;laksd;laskf;laskfa;sdd;ln;giau434goi 9- I just want to scream. Like I did when I got the email. a long line of undecipherable obscenities. I want to scream and just hit something. real healthy huh. poop 2/23/03-- "B-R-O-C-C-O-L-L-I" I love Cranium, but I hate Zack Ford. He can't spell broccoli OR subpoena. And he's a dramatic frickin' writer. Anyways, last night was fun. Ellen and I went to Macy's with Zack. Zack took too long shopping (no, he's not gay...), so Ellen and I went and tried on prom dresses. This one dress Ellen picked out for me weighed literally 10 pounds because of its stupid sparkly things on it. Made me glad I wasn't in high school, cause I do NOT miss the prom dress shopping days.... After Macy's, we wandered around Midtown going to stores that were closed and then we finally gave up and went home. We played Cranium at Tot's (Me and Ellen v. Tot and Zack), and it seemed easy enough at first, but then Ellen and I kept getting impossibly difficult Word Worms, and eventually we fell behind. But next Saturday, WATCH OUT CLIFF!! haha. Ok, so I was bored one night so I now have a better forum, a Randomly Asked Questions page for you to ask random (not frequent) questions about me, and I also have a place for you to bookmark my page!, if you haven't already. I know, I'm a loser. So just humor me like Keith does and participate in my things. There's also updates on Ellen, Tot, and Zack's quotes. And all you Zack fans HAVE to go check out the addition to Keith's page. It's hilarious. |
