Allison Berry:
My initial response to Allison’s site was that from my computer monitor, the black text was difficult to read with the dark green background. I feel that I have the same problem with my site against the html text, but favor my background color over other colors so have decided to keep it. I enjoyed the pleasant uplifting color change to yellow when I clicked on her Topic Statement. Allison’s site is well-organized with a convenient “return to my homepage” at the end of each page. She has many links one can follow, and I like that she took the time to include her own lengthy review on one of her references for the research class. It shows how much work she has done. I think researching on performance anxiety is something well-worth reading for all types of performers, beyond singers.
Rachel Blackburn:
I like the heading of Rachel’s website because it certainly gives it her personal touch. I also enjoyed reading her thorough biography with links to pictures. Every time I tried linking to a picture or adding a photograph to my site, I run into the problem of having a jpg.file that is too big and have not learned how to shrink my files. Rachel’s topic is relative to mine because of her desire to use musical notations to talk about Christian hymnology.
Shu-Wei Chang:
Shu-Wei’s website is very sparse, but her topic sounds interesting and could be narrowed down to many smaller aspects. Musical behavior is a wide topic. Her related links are not yet annotated.
